The Museum of the Inquisition in Belo Horizonte is the only museum of its kind in the Americas. Founded in 2012 by Marcello M. Guimarães, it preserves the history of the Inquisition and its lasting impact.

Through authentic artifacts and documents from Portugal, the museum presents the reality of the persecution faced by Jewish communities. Its collection is available to both the public and scholars.
