Supporting Mental Health
In Israel

Even in ordinary times, mental health care can be difficult to access. In times of crisis, the need grows quickly.

The war in Israel has created an urgent demand for care—supporting victims of attacks, first responders, and soldiers navigating ongoing trauma.

In partnership with Enosh

Immediately upon the outbreak of the war,

Enosh not only responded quickly to meet immediate needs but also realized that the post-war reality would require a strong systemic capability over the long term, to deal with multiple and growing cases of psychological trauma and associated disorders.

Founded in 1978, Enosh is the leading and largest core mental health organization in Israel, providing groundbreaking prevention, early intervention, and rehabilitation services based on a trauma-focused approach, with ongoing flexibility and adaptation to evolving needs.

This support is not optional—it is essential for recovery, stability,

and long-term healing.

Among their programs and courses of action:

  • Support and prevention: initial response to emotional difficulties to enable the return to life routine.

  • Resilence actions:  Actions supporting resilience to cope with routine activity in emergencies and dealing with stress and crisis.

  • Emotional support lines for the public: including youth and young adults, for people coping with mental health issues and their families, and for Enosh employees.

  • "headspace" centers to promote the mental health of youth and young adults.

  •  Balancing houses: for men, women, youth and veterans of military service coping with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD).
