The Bible was written over many centuries by dozens of authors living in different circumstances, yet it tells one unified story. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture reveals God's covenant relationship with humanity and His plan of redemption through the Messiah. What many Christians do not realize, however, is that this story unfolds within a distinctly Jewish world.

Messianic Judaism is a movement of Jewish people who believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Messiah of Israel while continuing to embrace their Jewish identity, heritage, and connection to the Jewish people. It seeks to live out faith in the Messiah within a Jewish framework rather than abandoning Jewish life and culture.

The phrase “kingdom of God” is so often spoken in church that it can begin to feel like a religious slogan instead of a framework that reshapes how we see everything. Yet when Yeshua spoke about the kingdom, He was announcing God’s reign, God’s order, God’s authority, and God’s claim over real people living in a real world.

Reading Acts in its Jewish world helps us recover something steady and needed. The earliest believers in Yeshua were not sustained by image, novelty, or religious performance. They were sustained by devotion.
