When Yeshua said, “Follow me,” he was calling people into a new way of life. Mark 1, Luke 5, and 1 Kings 19 show that discipleship means leaving, learning, and becoming.

People called Yeshua “Rabbi,” but we should not pour every later meaning of that title back into the first century. Read three Gospel scenes and recover the posture of a disciple.

Forgiveness begins with the character of God. This Scripture-rooted teaching looks at mercy, confession, cleansing, and how living forgiven reshapes the way we treat others.

In Scripture, the shofar gathers, warns, announces, and wakes people up. As Rosh Hashanah approaches, the sound of the shofar reminds us that repentance is not vague regret. It is a return to the God who calls before the heart grows hard.

Many believers have lost this kind of deliberate preparation. We move quickly from one event to another, one sermon to another, and one crisis to another. We may confess sin in broad terms while avoiding the specific habits, words, resentments, and divided loyalties that require attention. Scripture gives us a slower and more honest way.

To be set apart today means our lives should tell the truth about the God we claim to follow.

Remnant Why Scripture’s Remnant Language Preserves Hope Copyright 2026. Elizabeth Shulam A remnant is what remains after loss or hardship. In Scripture, though, the remnant is a sign that God has not abandoned His promises. It shows us that even when people fail, and kingdoms fall, God still preserves what belongs to Him. The Bible speaks often about a remnant. In the prophets, the remnant is connected to Israel’s survival after judgment and exile. When Israel was scattered,

That is why Israel’s endurance cannot be separated from the plan of redemption. The Jewish people are not incidental to the biblical story. They are the covenant people through whom God chose to carry His promises forward.

Before the week fills with appointments, messages, and unfinished work, take a moment to remember that God is near. Scripture speaks of His presence with both comfort and reverence.

The judgement of God is woven through the Law, the Prophets, the teachings of Yeshua, and the writings of the apostles. If we want to read Scripture faithfully, then we have to learn how to sit with judgment.

The Temple was central to Jewish life, worship, memory, and expectation.

We all experience seasons when the road ahead is unclear, and the strength that once came easily begins to wane. Hebrews 12 speaks directly to that kind of weariness.
