For centuries, Jewish people have been accused of killing Jesus. The accusation is sometimes expressed bluntly: “The Jews killed Christ.” In theological language, it is known as the charge of deicide, meaning the killing of God. This claim assigns collective responsibility for the crucifixion of Yeshua to the Jewish people as a whole.
