Theme: Formation After Encounter

Some moments in our faith walk feel clear and powerful. A prayer is answered. A passage opens up. We remember those moments because they wake us up. But Scripture shows us that after the encounter comes the shaping. God does not only meet His people in holy moments. He also forms them through time, obedience, correction, patience, and daily faithfulness. If you are in a slow season of growth, do not dismiss it. The Lord often does some of His deepest work there. (Beth Shulam)

This Week’s Scripture Anchor:

Luke 2:52

And Yeshua increased in wisdom and in years, and in divine and human favor.

Growth takes time.

Do not only look for big moments with God. Look at how He is helping you grow in wisdom, character, and obedience each day.

Formation After Encounter

There are moments in Scripture when people encounter God in ways that mark them deeply. A calling is given. A truth is revealed. A heart is shaken awake. Those moments are holy, and they deserve to be treated with reverence. Yet the biblical story keeps showing us that the encounter itself is not the end of the work. What follows is formation.

Blue Heart Movement Takeaway

Blue Heart Movement

In the last two weeks, a joint statement from the United States, Australia, Canada, and several European countries condemned Iran-backed plots targeting dissidents, journalists, and Jewish communities in multiple countries. The statement described these actions as a serious threat to public safety and national sovereignty. It is a sobering reminder that antisemitism is not only social or rhetorical. In some places, Jewish communities are still living under very real threat.  Read more here:  Reuters

That is why visible support matters. The Blue Heart Movement is one way to say clearly that Jewish people should not stand alone in the face of hatred, intimidation, or violence. Wearing the blue heart is a public act of solidarity, but it should also move us toward prayer, honest learning, and moral clarity. We are called to stand with Jewish people and against antisemitism in every form.
