The Bible speaks often about a remnant. In the prophets, the remnant is connected to Israel’s survival after judgment and exile. When Israel was scattered,

The Temple was central to Jewish life, worship, memory, and expectation.

The revelations at Sinai and Pentecost both are moments of divine speech, divine presence, and covenant identity.

So the question for believers is not whether God still cares how His people live. He does. The question is whether we are willing to be instructed.

Scriptural unity never required the erasure of Jewish identity. In Messiah, Jews and Gentiles are brought into one body through peace, not through flattening what God has chosen to distinguish.

There are seasons in Scripture when God’s people are called to move, and there are seasons when they are called to prepare. Shavuot places us inside one of those preparing moments.

The New Testament does not leave covenant behind. It carries covenant language forward to explain belonging, loyalty, and life in Messiah.
