Passover Recipes - Charoset
It is time to start thinking about Passover! April 22nd. I will be posting several of my Passover specialties in the next two weeks! Twenty-six years ago when Barry and I were newlyweds I had no experience with making the seder plate and its special Charoset. Barry explained what it looked and tasted like and what Marcia used to make it. So, I experimented until I came up with something that while doesn't look so appealing, is quite tasty. So, here it is....... Charoset

Send in the Clowns
There has been an unusual uptick in stress levels at the Shulam house. There are many new situations to process. Don't worry- this stress is not all bad. Stress is a part of life. Everything looks clean and pristine. And very bright. I am reminded of Daniel 7:9 when it snows like th

Resolutions are a waste of time
Where did this tradition of making New Years Resolution originate? For me it is a waste of time. And let's be honest, how many of us really keep them? Taking retrospect of the previous year's events can be an act of motivation, or depression depending on your personality. The only human I've met that had made a decision to start or stop something and follow through with it is my father. He quit smoking when I was a little kid cold turkey and never touched one again. My First Rambling
Well. I have no idea what this blog will become or what rabbit holes it will go down, but along the way, I pray and wish that it will be uplifting and informative to someone. I read a lot. Perhaps I'll review books. Or perhaps something in current events will spark an idea. Or maybe a recipe or two? They say to be intentional about your purpose on a blog, but that defies the definition of a ramble. And I have never been too good at listening to the "theys" anyway!!! I
